Zenprise Device Manager enables your
organization to remotely support BlackBerry® smartphones. This new module gives your help desk personnel and BlackBerry enterprise solution administrators access to real-time device information, enabling them to find lost or stolen devices, proactively monitor and diagnose device issues, and audit devices for rogue third party applications.
The Device Manager is an integral part of
Zenprise MobileManager. A Web Dashboard provides roles-based views
to empower all of your support teams for improved service. A
Device Agent is automatically deployed over-the-air to smartphones
across your enterprise. Managing and supporting your mobile users
is easier than ever, and they get the basic information they need
for self-help.
Within Zenprise Device Manager, the Device
Locator capability lets you quickly find lost or stolen devices.
GPS tracking can be activated from the Zenprise Dashboard to
identify the precise location of a missing device. Access to this
capability can be restricted and controlled based on your
organization’s security and privacy policies. Save support time
and avoid unnecessary device replacement and provisioning costs.
The Device Task Manager capability provides
vital information about the performance and utilization of your
mobile devices and installed applications. Get real-time
visibility into the status and memory usage for all applications,
available and used memory for all devices, and overall network
performance. Now you can optimize every smartphone to ensure
continued mobile worker productivity.
Within Zenprise Device Manager, the Device
Auditor feature helps you enforce compliance of corporate policies
through real-time device introspection. Ensure that all devices
are running only the latest software patches and firmware. Protect
your valued mobile assets and prevent security breaches by
validating that only company-approved applications are installed
on your smartphones across the enterprise.
